Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 28, 2026 · Last updated: August 14, 2026

Dama Pa More is a free Filipino board-game app for DAMA, Checkers, International Draughts, and Game of the Generals. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. We built the app to need as little of your data as possible — you can play as a guest without ever signing in, and a guest gives us no email address and no name at all. If you do choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we store the email address and the name that sign-in returns, and we use that name to fill in your public display handle — the name other players see. You can change that handle to anything you like, at any time, from inside the app. We never ask for your phone number, location, contacts, or photos, and we do not use any advertising identifier.

1. Who we are

Dama Pa More is operated by Pa More Games ("we", "us", "our"), the developer and publisher of the app and of the website at dama.pamore.app. We are the data controller responsible for the information described in this policy. If you have any question about your privacy, you can reach us any time at henyogames@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

You can start playing immediately with a guest account — no login, email, name, or phone number required. When you first open the app, we create a random display handle and a per-install device identifier so we can save your progress and connect you to online matches. If you later choose Continue with Google or Continue with Apple, we additionally store the email address and the name that sign-in returns, so you can recover your account on a new device and so other players see a real name instead of a random one. Signing in is entirely optional; guest play never produces an email address or a name. Here is everything we collect:

DataWhy we need it
Device identifier (a random per-install ID) To recognize your guest account across sessions and save your games, ratings, and settings without a login. It is generated randomly on your device — it is not your hardware ID and not an advertising ID.
Email address — optional, only if you sign in Stored only when you tap "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple", so you can sign back in and recover your account on another device. Apple's Hide My Email private-relay addresses work and are stored exactly as Apple gives them to us. Your email is never shown to other players and is never shared with anyone.
Your name — optional, only if you sign in When you tap "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple", the sign-in also returns the name on that account. We use it to fill in your public display handle (see the next row), so you appear to other players under your own name rather than a random one. We store it only as that handle — there is no separate, private copy. You can edit it at any time in the app, and we only ever fill it in while you are still using the random handle we generated; once you have set a handle yourself, signing in again will never overwrite it. Guest play never gives us a name.
Player ID & display handle (e.g. "Kalaro-4821", or your own name) So opponents, leaderboards, and friends can see a name for you. Your player ID is an internal reference and is never shown to anyone. Your display handle is public — opponents see it during a match, and it appears on leaderboards, on your profile, and in friends lists. We generate a random one for you at first ("Kalaro-4821"). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we replace that random handle with the name from your account, unless you have already chosen a handle yourself. It is yours to change: you can edit it in the app to a nickname, an initial, or anything else you prefer. Handles must be 3–20 characters and are checked before we save them — we reject names that impersonate us, our staff, or a deleted account, names using hidden or reversing characters, and abusive or obscene names. Handles are unique, so if the one you want is already taken we will tell you and ask you to pick another. (When we are the ones filling in your handle from your Google or Apple name, we add a short suffix instead, so signing in never fails just because someone shares your name.)
Gameplay & match data (moves, results, game type) To run matches, validate moves on our server, keep game history, and detect cheating or abuse.
Ratings & statistics (Glicko-2 rating, wins/losses, streaks, seasons, tournament results) To power the ranked ladder, seasons, tournaments, and your profile.
IP address (transient) Used only while you are connected, to route your online match traffic and protect against abuse. We do not build a profile from it.
Purchase records (Remove-Ads status) To remember that you bought the one-time "Remove Ads" upgrade and restore it. The actual payment is processed by the app store, not by us.
House-ad events (an ad was shown or tapped) To count impressions and taps on the ads we run for our own other games, and to know whether to show you an ad at all. Our own game server records these events against your account, together with the ad format, the placement, and a timestamp. The separate copy we send to our ad server, offlineads.tallact.tech, carries only a random one-off event ID, the campaign and creative, the ad slot, and a timestamp — no device ID, no player ID, no advertising ID, and no login token. See Advertising below.

We do not collect your phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, audio, files, calendar, or browsing history. We do not collect any advertising identifier (no IDFA, no Google Advertising ID). We do not use any analytics or crash-reporting SDK. The app has no chat and no messaging — players cannot send each other text — and the only thing you can write in the app is your own display handle. There is no profile bio or any other free-text field. You are never required to create an account, and you are never required to use your real name.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above only to run and improve the game:

We do not sell your personal information, we do not use your data to build marketing profiles, and we never email you marketing. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

4. Advertising (our own house ads)

The app and the website at dama.pamore.app are free and do contain ads, but they are only our own "house ads" — banner, interstitial, and rewarded promos for the other games we publish. (In a web browser you will see banners only.) There is no third-party ad network in the app or on the website. Ad images and text are fetched from offlineads.tallact.tech, a server we operate ourselves, so no outside advertising company receives anything about you.

Earlier versions of Dama Pa More served ads through Google AdMob. That integration, the advertising identifier it relied on, and the related consent prompt have been removed entirely. If you are still running an older build, updating the app removes them from your device.

5. In-app purchases

The app offers a single, one-time, non-consumable purchase: Remove Ads. When you buy it, the payment is handled entirely by the app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) using their payment systems — we never see or store your card number, billing address, or full payment details. We receive only a confirmation that the purchase was made, which we associate with your account so we can enable and restore the "Remove Ads" entitlement. No card, bank, or billing information ever reaches the app or our servers. Store purchases are subject to the app store's own terms and refund policies.

6. How we share data

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the app:

We share your data with no advertising network, no data broker, and no analytics provider. Your email address is never shared with anyone and is never shown to other players. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of our players and our service (for example, to investigate cheating or abuse).

What other players can see. Some game data is inherently visible to the people you play with: your display handle, your rating, and your results appear on leaderboards, on your profile, and to opponents during a match. Please be aware that if you sign in with Google or Apple, that handle starts out as the name on your account — so unless you change it, other players will see that name. This is a disclosure to other users of the app, not a sale or a transfer to any other company. If you would rather not show your real name, open the app and edit your handle to whatever you prefer; the change takes effect everywhere your handle is displayed.

7. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data (device identifier, display handle — including a name taken from your Google or Apple account, or one you typed yourself — ratings, statistics, and match history, plus your email address if you signed in) for as long as your account is active, so your progress and standing are preserved. IP addresses are used transiently to serve your connection and are not retained in our database or attached to your profile. Purchase records are kept as long as needed to honor your "Remove Ads" entitlement and to meet accounting and store obligations. House-ad interaction events recorded on our own server are linked to your account; when you delete your account, that link is removed, and the events remain only as an unattributed count that no longer points at any player. (The copy of those events sent to our ad server carries no identifiers in the first place — see section 4.)

Deleting your account and data. You can delete your account at any time, in either of two ways:

Deleting erases the email address we hold for you, closes the account so it can no longer be signed into or played, and replaces your public display handle with an anonymous one, so that handle and your past match records are no longer connected to you. Because your name — whether it came from Google or Apple or you typed it yourself — is that handle, replacing it is how your name is erased; we keep no other copy of it. If you only want to stop showing your name, you do not need to delete your account: just edit your handle in the app. This cannot be undone: your ratings, statistics, and progress are gone, and a "Remove Ads" purchase can afterwards only be restored through your app store. We may keep limited records where we must, to comply with legal, accounting, or anti-fraud requirements. If you would rather ask us to do it, email henyogames@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and your display handle. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your server-side account.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Online play is server-authoritative — moves are validated on our servers — which helps prevent tampering, and connections are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but because we collect so little, the sensitivity of the data we hold is low by design: we never set or store a password (sign-in is handled by Google or Apple), we hold no financial data, and the only personal details we can ever hold are an email address and a name you chose to give us by signing in — and the name is one you can change or remove yourself at any time.

9. Children

Dama Pa More is a general-audience app with a 13+ target audience — content rating Everyone (ESRB) / PEGI 3 — and is not directed primarily to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). The only ads in the app are our own promos for our other games; no third-party ad network, advertising identifier, or ad targeting is involved, so no advertising profile is ever built about anyone, child or adult. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact henyogames@gmail.com and we will remove it.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. We honor these rights for all users regardless of location.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your data, and the right to data portability and to withdraw consent. Our legal bases are: performance of a contract (running the game you asked to play — your account, matches, ratings, and the "Remove Ads" entitlement); consent (storing the email address and the name returned when you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, and using that name as your public handle — you can withdraw this at any time by editing your handle, or by deleting your account as described in section 7); and our legitimate interests (keeping the service secure, preventing cheating, and counting impressions of our own house ads). We do not process any data on the basis of consent to advertising, because we run no personalized advertising. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to correct it. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising at all — the only ads in the app are our own, served without any advertising identifier and without personalization, so there is nothing to opt out of.

The quickest way to exercise your right to correct the personal information we display is to edit your display handle in the app — that is the one field of yours that other players see, and it is entirely under your control.

To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app deletion option or dama.pamore.app/delete, or email henyogames@gmail.com. If you play as a guest, we may ask for your display handle and device identifier so we can locate the right data; if you signed in with Google or Apple, we may ask you to write from the email address on the account.

11. International users

We operate from the Philippines, and our hosting providers and the app stores (Google and Apple) may process data in other countries. By using the app you understand that your information may be processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from those in your country. We rely on our providers' safeguards for such transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide a more prominent notice in the app or on this page. Your continued use of Dama Pa More after an update means you accept the revised policy.
