Terms of Service

Welcome to Dama Pa More — a free Filipino board-game app for DAMA, Checkers, International Draughts, and Game of the Generals. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Pa More Games. Please read them; by using the app you agree to them.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Dama Pa More (the "app" or "service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
Dama Pa More is a general-audience app with a 13+ target audience; its content rating is Everyone (ESRB) / PEGI 3. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use it. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you should use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the app you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Accounts
You can play without registering. When you first open the app, we create a guest account — a random display handle and a per-install device identifier — so your progress, ratings, and settings can be saved.
Your display handle is public: opponents see it during a match, and it appears on leaderboards, on your profile, and in friends lists. We start you off with a random one. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we fill it in from the name on that account — but only while you are still using the random handle we generated; a handle you chose yourself is never overwritten. You can change your handle at any time in the app. Handles must be 3–20 characters, may use letters, numbers, spaces, apostrophes, hyphens, and underscores, and must be unique — if the handle you want is taken, you will be asked to choose another. The handle is the only free-text field in the app — there is no profile bio, and there is no chat or messaging between players.
While you are playing as a guest, there is no login or password, which means:
- Your guest account is tied to your device and installation. Uninstalling or resetting the app's data may permanently remove your progress and rating.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs through your device and account.
- We may reassign a display handle that turns out to be offensive, impersonating, or otherwise inappropriate.
Choose your handle responsibly. We check handles when you save them and refuse ones that are obscene, hateful, or that impersonate us, our staff, a moderator or system account, or a deleted player — and we may reset a handle to a generated one, without notice, if it impersonates someone, misleads other players, or contains abusive content. Repeated abuse may cost you the account. Please also don't put personal information you would not want public — your own or anyone else's — into your handle; every other player can see it.
Signing in is optional: you may link your guest account to a Google or Apple account at any time, which stores your email address so your progress and rating survive after you uninstall the app or move to a new device, and stores the name on that account as your public display handle, as described above. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with both. You can request deletion of a linked account at any time at dama.pamore.app/delete.
4. Fair play, anti-cheating & conduct
Dama Pa More is meant to be a fair, friendly game. Online play is server-authoritative, and we actively work to keep matches honest. You agree that you will not:
- Use bots, scripts, external engines, move-assist tools, or any automation to gain an unfair advantage in games meant to be played by a human.
- Exploit bugs, manipulate matchmaking, or collude with others to inflate ratings, "boost," "sandbag," or fix match outcomes.
- Interfere with, disconnect on purpose, or otherwise disrupt matches, tournaments, or the ranked ladder to deny opponents a fair result.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other players, or use hateful, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate display handles or content.
- Attempt to access, probe, reverse-engineer, overload, or tamper with our servers, other players' accounts, or the app's protections.
Violations may result in warnings, rating adjustments, removal from tournaments, suspension, or a permanent ban, at our reasonable discretion.
5. Ranked ladder & tournaments
The app offers a ranked Glicko-2 ladder with seasons, and scheduled single-elimination tournaments. To keep competition meaningful:
- Ratings, seasonal placements, and tournament results are calculated by our systems, and our determinations of results, standings, and rule enforcement are final.
- We may reset, recalculate, or adjust ratings and standings to correct errors, seasons, or the effects of cheating and abuse.
- Tournaments may have specific schedules, formats, and rules shown in the app; by joining, you agree to follow them and to play your scheduled matches.
- Ranked and tournament standing is for in-game recognition only and has no monetary value.
6. Purchases & virtual items
The app is free to play. It offers a single, one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase: Remove Ads.
- What you get. A one-time purchase that removes ads from the app on your account.
- Not pay-to-win. Remove Ads is purely a convenience/cosmetic benefit. It does not grant any competitive advantage, rating boost, or gameplay edge — the game is not pay-to-win.
- How it's billed. Purchases are processed by the app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) under their terms. We do not handle or store your payment details.
- Refunds. Because "Remove Ads" is a digital, non-consumable item delivered immediately, all sales are final except as required by law or by the app store's own refund policy. Refund requests are handled by the app store where you purchased.
- Restore. As a non-consumable item, Remove Ads can be restored through your app store account on a new install or device.
Virtual items and in-game standing (ratings, badges, seasonal placements) are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within the app. They are not your property, cannot be transferred or sold, and have no cash value.
7. Advertising
Unless you purchase Remove Ads, the app displays first-party house ads that cross-promote other apps made by Pa More Games. We do not use a third-party ad network, and these ads are not personalized and do not use an advertising identifier. How ads work is described in our Privacy Policy. You agree not to interfere with, obstruct, or fraudulently interact with ads shown in the app.
8. Intellectual property & license
The app, including its software, design, artwork, logos, and content, is owned by Pa More Games and its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the app except as permitted by law. The classic games themselves (Dama, checkers, draughts, Game of the Generals) are public traditions; our rights cover our specific implementation, name, and assets.
9. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of downtime, and online matchmaking, tournaments, and rankings depend on network conditions and third-party services outside our control.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pa More Games and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, ratings, or virtual items, arising out of or relating to your use of the app. To the extent we are found liable despite the above, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (for most users, this is zero) or PHP 500. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
11. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access — including your guest account, rating, and virtual items — if you violate these Terms, engage in cheating or abuse, or if we discontinue the service. We may also discontinue or modify the app, or any feature of it, at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts located in the Philippines will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide notice in the app or on this page. Your continued use of Dama Pa More after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
